1. Who we are
LiftReport is provided by James Clevely, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom ("we", "us"). When you use LiftReport you are contracting with James Clevely. Contact: clevelyjames53@gmail.com.
2. Acceptance
By creating an account or continuing to use LiftReport you agree to these terms. If you use it on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business; otherwise you must be at least 18.
3. The service
LiftReport is a web app for lift maintenance companies to record jobs, photos and voice notes, draft reports with AI assistance, approve them, and produce customer PDFs. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it during your subscription.
4. Your account
Keep your login details confidential and your information accurate. You are responsible for activity under your account.
5. Acceptable use
- No unlawful use, fraud or spam.
- No infringing anyone's intellectual property.
- No malware, probing, scraping or interfering with security.
- No reverse engineering, reselling or getting around technical limits.
6. AI-generated content
Report drafts are generated with AI and may be inaccurate or incomplete. They are documentation aids, not an independent engineering assessment. A competent person must check every report before it is approved or sent. You are responsible for what you enter and how you use the output, and you must have the rights to any content you upload. We may remove content, restrict outputs or suspend accounts that misuse the service. Rights-holders can report infringing content to clevelyjames53@gmail.com; repeated infringement leads to termination.
7. Your content and our IP
You own the content you upload. You give us a limited licence to host and process it only to provide the service. We own LiftReport, its software, documentation and branding.
8. Payments and subscriptions
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, renewal, cancellation and refund terms are set out in Paddle's Buyer Terms. The plan is £99/month per company after a 30-day free trial, renewing monthly until cancelled.
9. Service level
We work to keep LiftReport available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, implied warranties (including merchantability and fitness for purpose) are excluded.
10. Liability
Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as loss of profit, data or goodwill. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence. You indemnify us against claims arising from your content, unlawful use or breach of these terms.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. When access ends you have 30 days to request an export of your data, after which it may be deleted.
12. General
You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in a business sale. We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction.
